The basic function of venues is to provide a place that people can come to for a particular reason, event or occasion. This can be anything from a wedding or party, to even a concert. Venues for weddings and parties may be more elegant. Prices for venue hire will invariably depend upon location and type.

Whether it is conferences, exhibitions, dinners, or even a launch party for something, corporate event hire is also big business. Many clubs and halls are ideal venues for these types of events. Owners of venues will tend to charge for hiring out the place. Others may simply take a deposit which is then returned afterwards.
